ING DIRECT Orange Everyday Account
ING DIRECT's transaction account offers all the benefits of a standard bank account without the fees. The account features a Visa Debit card as standard and free ATM withdrawals - ING will refund the fee charged by the ATM as long as you withdraw $200 or more. It also features an Online Shopping Guarantee from Visa when used as Visa for shopping online to protect you against fraudulent charges.
There are no branches available (except a customer info. centre in Sydney) which means all transactions are online or by phone - however cheque deposits can be posted and cheques and cash can be deposited at branches of Australia Post all over Australia.
No branches means low costs - which means no monthly fees and no minimum deposit required to keep the account open. You can also easily link it to your high interest ING DIRECT Savings Maximiser.
